Jeff Earl, M. Soc. Sc., Principal
Jeff Earl received an Honours B.A. in Classics from Carleton University and completed an M.Soc.Sc. in Industrial Archaeology at the Ironbridge Institute, University of Birmingham, U.K.
Jeff has participated in archaeological research and cultural resource management projects in Ontario and the West Midlands in the U.K. for more than 30 years. Since 1992 he has directed many Stage 1 through 4 archaeological assessments in Ontario. He has an extensive knowledge of seventeenth to twentieth century cultural chronology of eastern Ontario with a particular understanding of industrial development. Jeff has an expertise in the excavation and interpretation of complex urban and industrial sites.
Brenda Kennett, M.A., Principal
Brenda Kennett received an Honours B.A. in Anthropology (Archaeology and Physical Anthropology) from McMaster University and completed an M.A. in Anthropology at Memorial University of Newfoundland, specializing in Arctic Archaeology.
Brenda has participated in archaeological research and cultural resource management projects in Ontario, Newfoundland, the Canadian Arctic and Sub-Arctic, Greenland and Chile. She has directed numerous Stage 1 through 4 archaeological assessments in Ontario and has developed an extensive knowledge of the pre-contact and historic period cultural chronology of eastern Ontario.
Adam Pollock, M.A., Senior Staff Archaeologist
Adam Pollock completed an Honours B.A. and M.A. in Anthropology (Archaeology) at Trent University.
Adam is a professional archaeologist and Staff Archaeologist with Past Recovery Archaeological Services Inc. He has participated in archaeological research and cultural resource management projects in Ontario and Belize . Adam has an extensive knowledge of both the pre-Contact and historic period cultural chronology of eastern Ontario and has expertise in the interpretation and implementation of the 2011 Standards and Guidelines for Consultant Archaeologists (Ontario Ministry of Heritage, Sport, Tourism, and Culture Industries).
Adam holds a professional archaeological consulting licence (P336) with MHSTCI.
Andy Snetsinger, M.A., Staff Archaeologist
Andrew Snetsinger received an Honours B.Sc. in Anthropology (Archaeology) from Trent University and completed an M.A. in Anthropology (Maya Archaeology and Bioarchaeology) also at Trent.
Andy has participated in archaeological research and cultural resource management projects in Ontario and Belize, and is developing his knowledge of both the pre-Contact and historic period cultural chronology of eastern Ontario. He has expertise in the excavation and analysis of human remains.
Andy holds a research archaeological consulting licence (R1089) with MHSTCI.
Caitlyn Howard, M.A., Staff Archaeologist
Caitlyn Howard received an Honours B.A. in Anthropology (Archaeology) from the University of New Brunswick, an M.A. in Archaeology and Heritage from the University of Leicester, and a Diploma in Heritage Carpentry and Joinery from Algonquin College.
Since 2009 Caitlyn has participated in numerous archaeological research and cultural resource management projects in Nova Scotia and Ontario. Caitlyn is particularly interested in privies and Victorian cultural material, and holds a professional archaeological consulting licence (P1074) with MHSTCI.
Jessalyn Miller, M.A., Staff Archaeologist
Jessalyn Miller received an Honours B.A. in Archaeology from Wilfrid Laurier University and completed an M.A. in Archaeology and Heritage from the University of Leicester.
Jessalyn has participated in archaeological research and cultural resource management projects in Ontario and Macedonia since 2011. Jessalyn’s research interests include historic period sites in southern Ontario as well as medicinal and hygiene-related material culture.
Jessalyn holds a professional archaeological consulting licence (P1111) with MHSTCI.
